Creative Spa and Wellness Thailand
The Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), together with the Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) and the Institute for Small and Medium Enterprises Development (ISMED), holds "Creative Spa & Wellness Thailand” to scale up and add value to the spa industry in Thailand.
This project provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs in the wellness, spa, and Thai massage industry to form business partnerships while receiving full support through five main activities:
1. Seminar on knowledge about the spa industry (SEMINAR)
Experts provide knowledge in spa market trends, design and value adding, branding, and digital marketing to assist entrepreneurs in creating new selling points for products and services related to spa, wellness, and Thai massage.
2. Product and service development workshop (WORKSHOP)
In the workshop, ideas are created, strategies adjusted, and products and services developed to help entrepreneurs quickly create distinctive selling points.
3. In-depth consultation in business, product, and service development (CONSULT)
Specialists give close in-depth consultation to each entrepreneur.
4. Overseas showcase of products and services (SHOWCASE)
Products and services are showcased abroad to test the market and expand business opportunities internationally.
All these activities are ways to push for the Thai spa industry to be an international creative destination. The activities are held in eight areas across Thailand, including Bangkok, Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Sakon Nakhon, Surat Thani, and Phuket. SME entrepreneurs operating in the spa and Thai massage businesses, as well as other related industries such as herbal products, decorative items, and equipment used in spa and Thai massage nationwide who have been in operation for three years or more or SME operators who have completed juristic person registration, trade registration, or business registration with state agencies, are eligible to participate.

Enhancing and adding value to the Thai spa industry in Phuket
Creative Spa & Wellness Thailand 2019, aimed to enhance and add value to the Thai spa industry, was held on 27 May 2019 at Dara Hotel, Phuket Province.
“Branding is every aspect of the experience a user gets. One of the benefits of branding, in addition to creating recognition which makes it easy to design products and services as well as creating value for the company in terms of profitability and easy marketing, is that it guides the entire organization to operate in the same direction and can grow sustainably,” said Zira Spa in a lecture on Digital Branding for Spa-Wellness Industry: Strategies/ Techniques to Build Your Brand in Chinese Market (Health Tourism– Massage– Spa Products-Spa Decorative Items).
Enhancing and adding value to the Thai spa industry in Khon Kaen
Creative Spa & Wellness Thailand 2019, aimed to enhance and add value to the Thai spa industry, was held on 24 May 2019 at Pullman Khon Kaen Raja Orchid Hotel, Khon Kaen Province.
In the lecture on Service Innovation and Creative Identity: Designing Wellness Services for Massage, Spa, Beauty Business, “To create innovation, there are three elements that entrepreneurs must consider: 1. creativity from yourself and your employees, 2. creation of something new that has not existed in your business, and 3. value creation for the product. This is the process of creating service innovations," said Lanna Come Spa.
"Digital marketing has the ability to cast the widest net to reach consumers. We find that consumer behavior has changed. Most people buy stuff online nowadays,” Zira Spa commented in a lecture on Techniques to Increase Sales with Excellent Services and Modern Marketing Strategies (Spa-Beauty-Wellness).

Creative Spa & Wellness Thailand 2019, aimed to enhance and add value to the Thai spa industry, was held on 22 May 2019 at Prima Wongamat Hotel, Chonburi Province.
Than Tara Spa spoke, “Following a successful business is not a bad thing. But one thing that should not be forgotten is to improve according to what you have to create a clear identity of your own,” during a lecture on Techniques to Increase Sales with Excellent Services (Massage for Wellness-Beauty-Spa).

The launch of the “Creative Spa & Wellness Seminar” was held at Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC) on 2 April 2019.
Mr. Krod Rojanasathien, speaking during his talk on The New Era of Spa & Wellbeing Business, said, “The potential of each operator is different. The regions and landscapes are different. The selling points and the products are not the same. What entrepreneurs who want to operate their businesses in the spa and wellness industry must know is that the majority of people have become more health-conscious. They take care of themselves. They have a healthy lifestyle because it is a way to protect themselves from getting sick, which is the main problem for people around the world."
In a lecture titled Cracking the Code of Best-Selling Products in the Category of Spa Products and Spa Decorative Items: Insights from Leading Department Store, Siam Piwat Retail Holding Co., Ltd. commented on the trend of spa products, "The popularity of spa products arises from many factors, including the preference for Thai herbs amongst foreigners, the preference for therapeutic scents, the mixing of different aromas to create new scents for a wide variety of products, the packaging design that attracts attention, and the use of innovation or creativity to differentiate your product."
"Vision is something that has to be adapted on a regular basis to keep up with the world," Siam Wellness Group Public Company Limited spoke during a talk on Wealth in Wellness: From Vision to Global Business Model.
“We must abandon the perspective of the past that once viewed brands as hiring an agency to create an image. A new perspective is to take a big-picture look at the brand. Revisit the values you have at the heart of your existence. This is the essence of branding today,” Baramizi spoke on the topic of Brand Valuation: Rise Above Your Competition through Branding.
“Digital marketing costs a lot. But it’s necessary to know it and use it,” said Divana Spa while delivering a talk on Market Penetration Using User Experience and Digital Marketing.
